Rustic Wedding
Venue.
A country property, the way it was built.

Sandstone walls, exposed beams, a pepper tree ceremony lawn and a championship golf course backdrop. The Springs is one of the most genuinely rustic wedding venues on the Central Coast.

Why this is rustic

The venue, not a style choice.

Most "rustic" wedding venues are styled rustic — barn doors imported, lanterns hired, hessian runners trucked in. The Springs is rustic because it always was. The original clubhouse was built using local sandstone and timber, the property runs cattle on the back paddocks, and the ceremony lawn sits under a peppercorn tree that's been there longer than any of us.

For couples who want a wedding that feels lived-in rather than decorated, that distinction matters. There's no theme to maintain — you turn up, the venue does the work, your photos look like the place.

What you get

Four reasons it works.

Industrial-chic ballroom

Exposed timber beams, sandstone walls, and a cathedral ceiling washed in festoon lighting. The bones of the room do most of the styling for you — couples consistently tell us they didn't need to bring much in.

Pepper tree ceremony lawn

Our outdoor ceremony location sits beneath a century-old pepper tree on a manicured lawn, looking out across the golf course. A natural canopy that needs no decoration.

Honest, hand-built details

Long timber tables, bentwood chairs, hessian runners, ironwork detailing. Materials chosen because they're real — not because they're 'on theme'.

Country light, all day

Big windows on three sides of the ballroom mean photography flows naturally from late-afternoon ceremony into golden-hour reception without ever feeling staged.

From real couples

On the rustic feel.

"The rooms were already so well decorated with sandstone walls, timber tables and beautiful lights that we really didn't need to add any styling to the rooms."

Common questions

Rustic wedding FAQ.

What makes The Springs a rustic wedding venue?

+

It's a working country property — 18-hole golf course, native bushland, a historic peppercorn tree on the ceremony lawn. The reception space uses the architecture of the original clubhouse: exposed beams, sandstone, timber. The 'rustic' isn't styled in for your day — it's the venue itself.

Can we have an outdoor ceremony?

+

Yes. Most couples use our pepper tree lawn for ceremonies, with reception inside the ballroom. We have a wet-weather contingency (the terrace) included in every package, so rain doesn't change your plans.

Can we bring our own decor and styling?

+

Absolutely — and many couples find they don't need much because the venue does the heavy lifting. Our coordinator helps with set-up and pack-down for any decor you bring (florals, signage, table settings).

Are pets allowed at the ceremony?

+

Yes, dogs are welcome on the ceremony lawn. Plenty of our couples have included their dog in the wedding party — the property suits it.

How many guests can the venue hold?

+

Up to 180 guests seated for a formal sit-down reception, or 250 for a cocktail-style event. The ballroom comfortably handles a long-table layout, family-style dining, or rounds.
